In this workshop Elisabeth will discuss unconscious bias and racial discrimination during a the COVID19 pandemic. By exploring the specific racism relating to individuals, employees and the broader community, this workshop aims to address how organizations can prepare to return to work and support remote work, particularly through the use of digital tools. Elisabeth will provide steps to enhance diversity and employee engagement in a challenging time.

Elisabeth is the Co-Founder and Chief Diversity and Strategy Officer of Dignii, a tech company that elevates dignity in the workplace through inclusive employee engagement. Dignii provides software solutions for HR leaders that want to measure diversity and improve inclusion. Elisabeth has a BA in Human and Social Development from UVic and a Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Melbourne.

Elisabeth is a trusted advisor to government, organisations and associations, and industry. She has specialized in diversity management for the past 10 years. She provides commentary and analysis for major media organisations, including CTV, Global and Postmedia outlets on the issues of diversity and inclusion. Elisabeth brings over 20 years’ experience to her work, carved out across Canada, the United States, Australia and South East Asia.

In his spare time, Darren mentors small businesses and designs programs to help individuals lead happier and more meaningful lives.

Through Lynnette’s extensive background in Sales, Client Management, Marketing and Project Management she provides a strategic and holistic consulting approach for employers, insurance brokers and carriers. Previous companies include Human Longevity, Inc., Unum Insurance and American Express.

She graduated from Arizona State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications & Media Studies.
